This is a four-session sound workshop where participants will engage in classroom style learning alongside hands-on activities to develop essential skills in managing sound systems. It aims to empower church sound teams to confidently operate their equipment, optimise sound quality, and ultimately enrich the worship experience for everyone involved.

Church sound teams and complete beginners with no prior experience or those who are interested in audio sound mixing.

Lester Ng is an experienced live sound professional, having worked on corporate events, live band performances, and conducted training courses. He holds a professional certificate in Live Sound Production from Berklee College of Music’s Berklee Online and has authored two books on sound mixing and engineering. In addition to his technical expertise, Lester plays bass in church, giving him a unique understanding of the needs of worship teams.
Luke Tan has been serving in the audio ministry at Covenant Community Methodist Church since 2007. With years of experience in live sound across events like corporate functions, weddings, and music festivals, Luke is passionate about helping others find the perfect balance in every mix.
Date: Class 2 – April 11, 18, 25 and May 2, 2026 (Saturdays)
Class 3 – September 5, 12, 19 and 26, 2026 (Saturdays)
Class 4 – July 1, 8, 15 and 22, 2026 (Wednesdays)
Time: 10am-11.30am (Saturday classes)
7pm-8.30pm (Wednesday classes)
