The built environment profoundly shapes lives and communities, yet the industry often defaults to a narrative of returns, scale, and speed. This evening is a chance to step back and ask a more foundational question: What does it mean to practice Redemptive Real Estate? How can we be faithful stewards of land, capital, and influence in alignment with God’s purpose of renewal?
A few of us, a Kingdom collective of practitioners and stewards, felt led to host this crucial dialogue. This session is not organised by any single entity, but emerges from a shared conviction that our approach to property and development can – and must – reflect the Gospel, uphold human dignity, resist exploitation, and remain economically sustainable.
Join us to explore a biblically grounded vision for the spaces we build and steward.
We will explore the Theology of Land—the biblical understanding that land is a gift from God, a trust for community flourishing, and a central stage for His redemptive story. Building on this foundation, we’ll engage with the concept of Redemptive Real Estate, which seeks to reorder the property ecosystem around purposes of justice, hospitality, and shalom, rather than extraction alone.
This is an invitation to move from concept to practice, learning how this vision applies to housing, hospitality, value chains, and capital.
